Dance to iconic tunes from the 80s, spun by DJ Paul Joseph, at the Cabot Cove Ball. Dress up in your best Jessica Fletcher attire and compete for prizes in categories like “Best Jessed” (see categories below). Costumes are not required to party! No host bar.
This event is part of the Murder, She Wrote Festival. While full weekend festival passes are sold out, we are making a limited number of tickets to this event available. The Festival is a fundraiser for the Kelley House Museum, a historic house museum located in Mendocino, where 9 episodes of Murder, She Wrote were filmed.
The Cabot Cove Ball is sponsored by Murder Ridge Winery and North Coast Brewing Co.
The Festival is an unofficial event and is not associated with NBCUniversal.
Please bring mobile or printed receipt to venue for check-in, which will be at Crown Hall, which was the “Cabot Cove Library” in the TV show! The address is 45285 Ukiah St., Mendocino.

Costume Categories:
BEST JESSED – CABOT COVE, SPORTS & LEISUREWEAR, GLAMOUR – Try your hand at the Best Jessica Fletcher costume. Will you come as a jogging Jess, a writing Jess, a fishing Jess, or Jess in disguise as a wealthy widow or a floozy?
BEST DRESSED SIDEKICK – From Seth Hazlitt to Michael Haggerty, all the nephews and nieces and the sheriffs. You could even come as a sidekick who never appeared on screen – last year someone came as Adele Metzger!
BEST CONCEPTUAL COSTUME – The sky’s the limit with this category of non-human Murder, She Wrote costumes! Come as a typewriter, a jet-lagged lobster, a copy of “The Corpse Danced at Midnight.” The only limit is your imagination.
BEST DRESSED GUEST – Best memorable Guest Star costume. What about Adrienne Barbeau’s prison garb in “Jessica Behind Bars” or even Magnum PI from “Magnum on Ice”?
