The Mendocino Study Club was established in 1908 as a place for women to advance “their highest intellectual and spiritual development through avenues of study or works.” This volume celebrates their many activities, including the establishment of the Mendocino Community Library, the endowment of a scholarship for promising female high school students, and their many community-enriching projects.
