SUMMARY:Water Towers Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe City Hotel water tower still stands at the west end of Main Street. (Photographer: Robert Dominy) \nDiscover why Mendocino was once known as the “Town of Water Towers” on this tour of several still-standing towers.  Built in the late 19th Century to supply water to the town’s inhabitants\, more than 100 water towers and accompanying windmills once adorned the landscape. As you admire the scenic beauty of coastal Mendocino during your walk through the historic district\, our trained docent will reveal the town’s oldest\, tallest\, prettiest (some were quite ornate!)\, and strangest water towers.

SUMMARY:Haunted Mendocino Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Visit the homes\, hideouts\, and hangouts of all of Mendocino’s well-known specters\, and learn a little of the town’s history along the way.  Hear about a stallion and rider who rode into the sea\, a tragic shipwreck\, a sickly child\, and many more of the stories collected from nearly ten years our guide spent interviewing residents of these historic buildings. Your tour will last 1.5 to 2 hours. Advance ticket purchase recommended.  Meet at the Kelley House Museum. Rob will be your guide. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for youth. PURCHASE TICKETS.
