DESCRIPTION:Visit Mendocino’s local shops in search of murder weapons! Find them all\, and enjoy the charms of the town’s retail district during this self–guided scavenger hunt. This activity is part of the Murder\, She Wrote Festival\, but is open to the general public so all can enjoy! Pick up a map at Preston Hall or the Kelley House Museum.  Turn your completed map into the Kelley House Museum before 3pm on Sunday to collect your prize. All entries will be entered into a drawing for the grand prize: a pass to the 2027 Festival. \nThe Murder\, She Wrote Festival is a fundraiser for the Kelley House Museum\, a historic house museum located in Mendocino\, where 9 episodes of Murder\, She Wrote were filmed. DESCRIPTION:Angela Lansbury in the role of Jessica Fletcher while filming “Murder\, She Wrote.” She is standing under the barber pole at Mitch’s Barber Shop on the corner of Lansing and Ukiah Streets. \nKelley House tour guides take you to a dozen Murder\, She Wrote filming locations\, regaling you with anecdotes and history along the way. Take selfies at the iconic 1888 Victorian residence of Angela Lansbury’s mystery-solving character Jessica Fletcher. (This tour will not visit the Hill House due to construction.) Tour lasts 1.5 hours and departs from the Kelley House Museum. \nSelf-guided walking tours are also available on an App from your phone for $10. Simply search for “Kelley House Tour” in the App store and download onto your phone or tablet. \nThis event is part of the Murder\, She Wrote Festival. While full weekend festival passes are sold out\, we are making a limited number of tickets to certain events available.
