Join us for “An Afternoon With” program with author and local historian, Bruce Levene, on Sunday, August 23, at 3 pm for a 1½ hour, multimedia video presentation of short film clips from many of the movies filmed on the Mendocino Coast. Some of the movies shown are East of Eden (starring James Dean), The Russians are Coming (Alan Arkin), Same Time Next Year (with Alan Alda and Ellyn Burstyn), Summer of ‘42 (Jennifer O’Neil), and Overboard (Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell). Bruce will make editorial comments throughout the presentation and there will be a question and answer period at the end. Refreshments will be served following the presentation.
